What the Heck Movie Review: The Amazing Spiderman (2012) Part 1

By, 9.11

Not accurate, bad enemy and the worst ending line ever. These are words that make me think of The Amazing Spiderman.

I don’t even need to talk about the beginning that much. Peter Parker goes to a science facility and gets bitten by a spider. Then he goes home and gets mad at his aunt and uncle and leaves the house. He goes to a gas station where he tries to buy milk and fails.

Then a guy robs the station and Peter walks into the street only to see his uncle get shot by the robber. Peter goes into a state of depression and then starts putting together the character of Spiderman.

A Butterfly’s Story

By, Piglet

In honor of National Poetry Month, here is an original poem I wrote! Enjoy!

A Butterfly’s Story

A flutter
In the bush
A butterfly wing;

Once was
And it hid,
For so long
And was

Glorious transformation
Long time waited for.
That such a
Could emerge
From such

A flutter
In the bush
A butterfly wing.

ode to smiling – an original poem

By, Pooh Bear

In honor of National Poetry Month, here is a poem I wrote!

Ode to smiling
Across any ordinary face
Lies happiness.
Like an upside down rainbow,
As cheery as a clown,
or smothered on by laughter
and replacing a frown.
Sits this funny figure,
Chuckle the cheers of happy days,
Come with this gift upon a face.

Seizing a huge smile,
to pop upon your face.
It grips you and controls you.
You can’t be let down.
It makes you dance,
It makes you laugh.
It shows the world how nice you are.
Don’t tear it down,
Your smile should be shown.
Let it play a pretty song.

Allow it to grow.
It will present,
Perfect pearls or other teeth.
It will reveal a happy soul,
One who can’t let go,
And will stick to you,
Like glue.
It is lovely and appealing.
Smiling is in,
So let it come out.

What the Heck Movie Review: Batman and Robin (1997) Part 2

By, 9.11

…Later in the movie, the woman comes back and kills the other guy. She takes the monster criminal and goes to Gotham City. She goes to an exposition of this telescope that Bruce Wayne (Batman) is sponsoring when Mr. Freeze comes in and tries to steal some diamonds that power the telescope and incidentally power his suit.
Mr. Freeze and the woman who is now calling herself Poison Ivy because she can control plants team up and plan to freeze the entire city.

Then something completely random happens and Batman’s servant’s niece comes to visit and finds out Bruce Wayne is Batman. Then she gets her own suit and Batman, Robin, and Batgirl (the niece) go to stop Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze.

The three superheroes win in the cheesiest fight scene of all time.

At the end it shows the three running across rooftops and the movie ends.

The moral of this story is to never make a movie just for selling toys. That is the worst idea since the idea to have Taylor Swift sing.

Happy National Poetry Month! There are all different types of poems! Your poem could range from one line to 100 lines.

This is a poem that I found rather confusing. What do you think this poem means?

The Red Wheelbarrow

so much depends
a red wheel
glazed with rain
beside the white
By: William Carlos Williams

That poem is quite weird right? Well either that poem has a really deep meeting and maybe the wheelbarrow is a metaphor for something. Or maybe this poem is just really truly about a red wheelbarrow.

Here is a poem I wrote. I’m not sure how much sense it makes but oh well.

warm, sunny
exciting, surfing, tanning
spring, summer, fall, winter
snowing, charming, amazing
cold, rainy
