Little kids view Easter as a holiday that they go searching for colorful eggs and get candy. Really, it is the holiday that celebrates Jesus Christ’s Resurrection three days after he was sacrificed at the cross. It is to celebrate the coming of Christ for Christians. Easter is to honor the day that Jesus Christ paid for all of our sins so that we don’t have to be sinless to receive God’s blessings. So Easter isn’t just a fun little holiday; it’s a holiday for Christians to celebrate what they believe in.
