Tragedy in Newtown

Sandy Hook Elementary School was a safe peaceful place for kids kindergarten through 4th grade to learn. But on December 14th 2012, Adam Lanza, shortly after killing his mother at her house, went to the elementary school where she worked and killed 20 students and 6 staff:

The shooter committed suicide after the shooting.

A teacher in a kindergarten class shielded her students and took the blow. The shooting was not only showed heroics from the teachers, staff and police, but showed hope when a city came together to warm the families who lost loved ones. We will never forget everything that happened that day.
