Movie Review: Elf

Elf

By, Princess Ariel

Christmas is right around the corner. Children will soon be setting out cookies and milk for Ol’ Saint Nicholas. It’s also the time for relaxing on the couch with family, and watching Christmas movies. Probably the best Christmas movie ever made is Elf, starring Will Ferrell. Elf is about a grown man named Buddy (Ferrell) who has grown up in the North Pole thinking that he is an elf. Finally, when Santa tells Buddy that his father lives in NYC, and that he is on the naughty list. Now its Buddy’s quest to meet his father and change him from a nasty Old Scrooge to a peachy and jolly man.

After seeing Elf, I thought I had just witnessed a comedy show topped with dozens of hilariousness. It seemed like Ferrell’s character was so dumb and stupid that it would make you laugh so hard. In my opinion, I could have watched this movie all day if time allowed it. I would recommend this movie to anyone, because it’s a movie that I know everyone would enjoy.

“The best way to spread Christmas cheer is by singing loud for all to hear.” – Buddy
